This six weeks in the Media Center:
Students in Kindergarten, First and Second Grade will vote for the North Carolina Children's Picture Book Award. In April we will find out which book won for the state!
Kindergarteners will do research on farm animals, using the laptops, in preparation for their field trip to a farm.
First graders will have a lesson on the history of Indian Trail.
Fourth and Fifth grade classes will conduct author studies and use picture books to identify literary devices and improve comprehension skills.
